The celebs, the red carpets, the parties, the premieres...there's no doubt that the Toronto International Film Festival is an A-list cinematic event but it takes a lot of work to pull off the flawless fun each and every year. To get an idea of just what it takes, here are some hard facts about Toronto's little festival that could:

Films: 335 (271 Feature flicks; 64 Short films)

Premieres: 242 (95 world; 39 international; 108 North American)

Total film submissions: Approx. 3000 (Approx, 2100 International, approx. 900 Canadian)

Countries represented with films at TIFF: 64

First Features: 71

Movie screens being used: 32

Minutes of film being screened: 25,791

Longest film being screened: 192 minutes

Shortest film being screened: 1 minute

Canadian full-length features, including co-productions: 29

Canadian shorts, including co-productions: 44

Screeening attendees, both public and industry: 470,000+
