Mark your calendars and find a comfortable people-watching nook in Yorkville because the stars, they are a-coming.

The Toronto International Film Festival announced today that they're expecting some 500 guests to the 34th incarnation of the world-famous festival, including talk show magnate Oprah Winfrey and actor-director Tyler Perry who are producers of the film Precious: Based on the novel Push by Sapphire which is screening as a gala presentation.

A-list actors and headline-grabbers George Clooney, who missed last year's festivities, Penelope Cruz, Michael Douglas, Bill Murray, Demi Moore, Ewan McGregor, Jennifer Connelly, Juliane Moore, Matt Damon, Megan Fox and fashion designer-turned-director Tom Ford are set to make Toronto their home away from home during the fest's September run.

The city will naturally be flooded with talented directors, crowned with the title of auteur, Oscar winner or cult favourite, among them: Neil Jordan, Werner Herzog, George A. Romero, Joel and Ethan Coen, Jason Reitman, Michael Moore, Todd Solondz and Harmony Korine.

Get your camera-phones ready and plan on being seriously starstruck when TIFF madness is unleashed on the masses from September 10 to the 19th.
