  • Wait, isn't Transformers based on the Hasbro toy? So obviously lots of people love it, but does it really count in this poll? And besides, Watchmen kicks the most a** out of all these adaptations :)

  • Watchmen was the worst comic book and movie ever created
    i would rather pull my eyelids off than watch that piece of garbage again

  • I've loved so many of these movies...but it's really a toss up between Iron Man and The Dark Knight for me. I don't care how good the transition from comic to screen is - if you don't have a quality script and awesome actors, I'm not interested! And RDJ and Heath Ledger brought it.

  • Just because they base a comic book on a toy line, it doesn't make the movie a comic book movie.

    I agree that Ghost World should be there, but my all-time favourite adaptation is Sin City. Watchmen comes close.

  • By far the best comic book to movie adaptation is "GHOST WORLD". Absolute beautiful movie. Next would have to be 300, and Watchmen. It's nice to see a real adaptation from comic to movie.
