Boy and Girl live happily ever after. Therein lies the basic blueprint for one of Hollywood’s most enduring and loved genres, the romantic comedy. It’s a simple enough concept but with the right combination of dialogue, actors and direction it can turn into pure cinematic magic and the very best of the bunch will make you laugh ‘til you cry and cheer louder than you’re willing to admit. With the latest romantic comedy The Proposal (starring genre queen Sandra Bullock and funny man Ryan Reynolds) hitting theatres this week, we want to know which “rom-com” is closest to your heart! After seeing the sneak preview of The Proposal, I think this movie will win hands down in future votes. It has been a long time, since I've been to a movie where the whole audience is laughing out loud, not only once or twice but for a majority of the movie. W

While I really enjoyed a few of those, "Love, Actually" gets my vote by a longshot. The cast was just so great to watch during the whole film, and the first time I saw it, it became an instant favorite.
