-- Summit unleashes Wolf Pack Four actors join Twilight alum Taylor Lautner (Jacob) as part of the wolf pack at the centre of New Moon's storyline and judging by their ripped torsos, they'll be giving Edward a run for his money. Director Chris Weitz told USA Today that casting was based on Native American ancestry, since the wolf characters belong to the Quileute Tribe, and of course, physicality. The foursome, Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Bronson Pelletier, went through 'wolf camp' together and are reportedly pumping iron between takes and filling up on protein. But being pretty ain't easy. The director admitted that the thesps have to contend with chilly Vancouver weather and are to appear in costume (read: shirtless) for most of their scenes. "It's not pleasant for the actors," said Weitz. "But they have all been good-natured. They show up on location in drenching, cold rain, and I say, 'OK, off with the robes." Indeed.

-- Stephen Dorff is on the comeback trail Stephen Dorff certainly owes Britney Spears at least a few dozen roses. The pop princess reminded North America, and indeed the world, that Dorff was still an actor for hire when she cast him as her out-of-control boyfriend in the video for her hit song "Everytime". Before that, most people would be hard-pressed to name a film that Dorff had been in over the past five years. But now it seems he's poised for a comeback, appearing in Micheal Mann's Public Enemies, joining the cast of Sofia Coppola's just-announced Somewhere and taking a role in the Adam Sandler scripted porn comedy - yes you read that correctly - Born to be a Star. According to Variety, Dorff will play a character who goes by the randy handle Dick Shadow and will star alongside Christina Ricci and Nick Swardson (Grandma's Boy, The Benchwarmers, "Human Giant"). If Dorff keeps this up, he may yet become more than a 90s footnote.

-- Joseph Gordon-Levitt added to Inception It's what gearing up to be an Ocean's Eleven-style kick-ass cast, Christopher Nolan has added the talented, and oh so handsome, Joseph Gordon-Levitt to the roster of his upcoming film Inception. The thriller stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Oscar winner Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page and Cillian Murphy. Gordon-Levitt replaces James Franco, who was attached to the film but had to back out due to scheduling issues, and will play one of DiCaprio's associates. Though details on the plot are sketchy and being kept rather quiet, The Hollywood Reporter described it as "a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind." Given Nolan's impressive output (Following, Memento, The Dark Knight) expectations on this one are rightly sky-high.

-- Susan Boyle gets makeover - obvs Everyone's favourite homely Scottish internet celeb now looks slightly less so thanks to a bottle of hair dye, a professional tweezing and a fitted leather jacket. In a move that should come as a surprise to no one at all, the "Britain's Got Talent" singing sensation decided to ditch her doily-like sack dress, dull hosiery and grey locks in favour of an updated look, despite earlier comments about being happy with her appearance. Boyle prettying up herself does, however, complicate the 'Her, really? Huh, who knew she'd be good' reaction that most experienced hearing the 47-year-old singing "I Dreamed a Dream." Although a viral hit and current talk show fave, Boyle isn't in the clear and has some stiff competition from a 12-year-old contestant.

    • RE: Stephen Dorff - anyone recall Aerosmith's 'Crying' video where he played an emotionally abusive and cheating boyfriend? Britney's taking on Alicia Silverstone's sloppy seconds, bless her soul...
