Congratulations!

Almost 9 yrs ago my hubby and i shared our 1st valentine's day together, he lived with roommates who didn't pay their part of the electricity bill, so we spent a romantic evening by candlelight listening to an enya cd via a battery operated boombox, sharing a small tub of my fav gourmet ice cream. A mortgage and a baby later, we still celebrate valentine's day with ice cream.

Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is around the corner and we’ve all had our share of memorable moments – some that touched our hearts or had us bolting for the door – on that annual occasion dedicated to all things love and like.

Now we want to hear about your MOST memorable Valentine’s Day!

It’s simple: log on as a mycineplex member and tell us, in 500 words or less, about a V-day story for the ages. The winning entry, to be chosen by the Cineplex.com editorial team, comes with a $100 shopping spree at the Cineplex store – and of course, bragging rights.

You can only enter once, so make it count. Don’t delay – contest ends Tuesday, February 17.

    • My most memorable V-Day would have to be the one that just past. I spent it with my best friends and significant other. We had a Saw movie marathon and then ended it with going to see Friday the 13th. Now I know it wasn't the cliche mushy day that everyone expected but I got to spend it with the people that mean the most to me, and we had an amazing time. That's what made it the most memorable

    • my most memorable Valentine's day just finished.
My husband and I went on a cruise AKA BC Ferries from Duke Point to Tsawwassen. We had a wonderful sunny day, Sat up in the lounge drinking coffee and watching the ocean. We then met 2 of our 3 children and grandson for lunch.
The drove home together through the beautiful BC interior.

    • My MOST memorable Valentines Day was 3 year ago when I was recovering in the hospital from a major surgery, my husband came in my room where I was staying, and when I was sleeping, he had decorated my room with a homemade I LOVE YOU poster and 6 red roses by my bedside, as well as a big stuffed Gorilla beside me on the hospital bed, I awoke to all this, with tears of joy! It was very special!
