Valentine's Day contest

Thanks for all your entries and for sharing your best, and worst, Valentine's Day memories. We enjoyed them all but there can only be one winner and that honour goes to tippycanoe!

Almost 9 yrs ago my hubby and i shared our 1st valentine's day together, he lived with roommates who didn't pay their part of the electricity bill, so we spent a romantic evening by candlelight listening to an enya cd via a battery operated boombox, sharing a small tub of my fav gourmet ice cream. A mortgage and a baby later, we still celebrate valentine's day with ice cream.

    • well I have yet to have a very special and romantic valentines day because I keep meeting losers, still waiting for Mr Right to spoil me

    • My most recent V-day story has to do with not the "chick flick" movie, but a roll my eyes in my eye sockets cartoon: Coraline. I guess inside, we are all saps at heart, but I will always say that going to the movies with my loved one, no matter which movie, is my own hidden "chick flick"; for I love her no matter which movie we see.. and our time together make me complete.

    • My most memorable valentine's day is the 1991 when my huby went off to the Gulf War; being a new army bride, I did not find easy to be brave. The best thing about this valentines was that hubby returned safely as many did not; but not unaffected from trauma.
