Who deserves to win?

mycineplex and Famous Magazine want to know who YOU think should win an Academy Award for their work in 2008.

Is there an actor who has been nominated dozens of times and should finally get their due this year, a talented actress operating under the radar or a new face whose work shouldn't go unnoticed?

This is your chance to tell the Academy who should walk away with the hardware or what movie should go down in history as a best picture winner.

    • even though I haven't seen most of these, based on the buzz and from what I have scene, this is what I'm predicting

      best actor- frank langella- frost/ nixon
      best supporting actor- heath ledger- the dark knight
      best actress- anne hathaway- rachel gets married
      best supporting actress- ?
      best director- christopher nolan- the dark knight
      best picture- the dark knight

    • best Actress should go to Anne HAthaway for her spectacular acting in Rachel getting married.

      Even through it not release yet i would probably give the best actor oscar to Mickey Roucke for his role in The Wrestler

      I would probably give the best director and best picture to THe Wrestler also simply because even if it'S not release yet, i heard that it's one of the best movie of 2008.

    • Ok I've thought about it a little more. I'd venture to say Best Director - Andrew Stanton for Wall-E and Daniel Craig for Best Actor in Bond...

    • I tried to pick for each category but it was tricky. The one thing I will say is that Heath Ledger should win Best Supporting Actor for his role as the Joker in The Dark Knight. He really was the perfect Joker.
