Duchovny, Leoni separated

Though he recently wrapped up a stint in rehab for sex addiction, it seems David Duchovny's troubles are far from over.

According to People.com, Duchovny and wife Tea Leoni revealed through a joint statement that they are separated, and have been for some months, amidst ongoing and persistent rumours that their marriage was failing.

The “X-Files” actor voluntarily entered a rehab facility for sex addiction in August and completed treatment in early October with plans to work on a new movie. Leoni currently stars alongside Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear in the comedy Ghost Town.

The couple have been married since 1997 and have two children together, Madelaine West, 9, and Kyd, 6.

    • Kind of sad. I did see him around Vancouver during the Xfiles in the 90's. Amazing show. So <a href="http://my.cineplex.com/showbiz-news/2008/08/duchovny-being-treated-sex-addiction/">Sex addiction</a> was the cause of this separation? Not divorce so perhaps they are getting back in the future.
