Bell, Davis escape on ‘Couples Retreat’

Kristen Bell and Kristin Davis know a thing or two about portraying women in struggling relationships, coming off comedies Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Sex and the City, respectively. Now they're setting sail for a tropical island locale to work on failing marriages in Couples Retreat, reports Entertainment Weekly.

The comedy stars Jon Favreau (who also wrote the script) Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman and Faizon Love as one-half of four couples who are vacationing on a remote island. Although only one couple is there to seek marriage counselling, the other twosomes somehow get sucked into the therapy program as comedy, no doubt, ensues. Malin Ackerman (27 Dresses) rounds out the cast as Vaughn’s wife.

The film, which begins shooting later this month in Bora Bora and L.A., will be directed by actor-producer Peter Billingsley.
