Kanye West

The outspoken rapper, producer, professional clotheshorse and avid blogger can now add another accomplishment to his resume as he's set to collaborate with Comedy Central.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kanye West and the specialty TV channel have joined forces on the tentatively-titled "Alligator Boots", described as hip-hop meets the Muppets.

While that description may prove to be a bit of a head-scratcher, coming from Jackhole Productions, the company founded by Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carolla and Daniel Kellison who were behind "Crank Yankers", our money is on some funny puppet tomfoolery.

West is also serving as executive producer, along with fellow rapper Rhymefest, and both musicians will have their tunes featured on the program.

A half-hour pilot of "Alligator Boots" has been completed with West as the inaugural host. Much like "The Muppet Show", a different celebrity guest will host each weekly episode.

The project is under consideration for 2009.
