From the man who unleashed Vince Vaughn onto unsuspecting audiences in Swingers more than 10 years ago, and made "You're so money" an instant 90s catch phrase, comes a comedy about couples therapy.

Before you groan at the well-tread premise, take into account that actor/writer/director Jon Favreau helped make Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man a thinking person's comic book adaptation and one of the summer's biggest blockbusters until some guy with a cape swooped into town.

According to Variety, Favreau will write and star in the Vaughn comedy vehicle Couples Retreat, along with everyone's favourite Bluth, Jason Bateman, and comedian/actor Faizon Love. The story follows four couples who venture to a remote island and although only one pair are seeking marriage counselling, the rest of the group soon finds out its not exactly optional.

Vaughn thought up the premise while filming the hit 2006 rom-com The Break-Up, which also featured a small part by Peter Billingsley, who is pegged to make his directorial debut here.

This film represents yet another collaboration between real-life BFFs Favreau and Vaughn, who previously worked together on Swingers, Made (2001) The Break-Up and the forthcoming Four Christmases.

Favreau will then return to his director's chair for the already much-anticipated Iron Man 2, set to begin production in early 2009.
