Aniston and Mayer reportedly split

Team Aniston has taken another blow as 'People.com' reports that the former Mrs. Brad Pitt and her rocker beau John Mayer have called it quits.

Serial dater and "Friends" alum Aniston started dating sensitive singer-songwriter Mayer in April and the two recently opted to spend time apart to reevaluate their relationship.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that any reconciliations are on the horizon. 'People.com' cites multiple sources who confirm the break-up, quoting a close source of Aniston's as saying, "They had a great time together but they are just in different places in their lives right now."

Both Aniston's and Mayer's reps have declined to comment.
