After Jab We Mat, a lot is expected out of the director with his fresh take on modern day romances. So while he manages to bring out some great ideas about how people think today- he does it in a mundane style and through a very boring and unconvincing cast. Half the time you are confused about why Saif is so confused and Deepika just remains her usual non-expressive self throught the movie. The paralelling of two love stories- one from the past and one from the present - is an interesting concept, but not as well handled as it could have been. Some scenes seem unecessary while others seem to drag. Overall worth a one time watch but definitely not one of my favourite films.
This movie is hillarious! Yes, the perspective of Butler's character on relationships is very skewed and I only hope women or men don't take this movie that seriously (cuz honestly all men ARE NOT like that!). But overall this is by far the funniest movie to have come out, not only this summer, but in a long time. Heigl and Butler do an amazing job with their comic timing and their chemistry is so refreshing. The promos are very misleading cuz you almost believe that you could watch this movie with family - NO U CAN'T- this movie redefines the words crass and vulgar, but you still can't stop laughing. Every other scene has you in fits of laughter (I don't think I have ever heard an entire cinema audience go this crazy!). Yes, the story is predictable- but who said that romantic comedies have to have a twist in the end? The movie flows wonderfully from scene to scene and at no point do you get tired of the jokes. A MUST watch for everyone. A definite "chick flick" for the guys too!
Ok. Horror movies are clearly not a Hollywood forte anymore. The plot line is very predictable and feels like a mash up of different story lines. The movie does not keep you gripped wanting to know more nor does it take you to a level where it begins to mess with your head. You will leave the cinema going "what a waste of time". The poor man's Megan Fox (Odette Yustman ) was put to good use...but alas the movie does not stay with you like horros movies should.
Well my friends reviewed it and they said they hated it...so I HAD to watch it; and quite frankly I did not think it was that bad (cuz it was not just bout mindless action -like Transformers) but it actually had a plot line. I thought it was a great continuation of the Terminator series. It needs to be polished in a lot of areas - but story wise it made sense and is worth the watch for all Terminator fans
